As we enter the holiday season, be prepared prior to coming to the airport by following these quick travel tips.
Tip #1: More time = less stress!
Due to high holiday traffic, the airport gets very busy with extra and full flights. Skyxe is also completing life-cycle upgrades to its baggage system, which means all passengers are required to drop their own bags prior to screening. Please allow extra time for this process, as well as parking, checking in, and going through security. To avoid any added time constraints, make sure to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before your boarding time for domestic flights and 120 minutes before boarding for international flights. Please note that due to an increase in US security measures, flights direct to the US will be subject to additional screening at check-in, the screening area, and boarding.
While you are here, check out some of our amenities in the terminal. For more information on Skyxe’s shopping and dining see our website.
Tip #2: Scope out where to park. Skyxe Saskatoon Airport has new parking options available.
StandardXE (previously P1): Long-term parking, with the amenities of free temperature controlled plug-ins for your engine block heater in most stalls, is a win-win for traveler’s wanting the convenience of parking close to the terminal.
ValetXE: With vehicle drop off located directly outside the terminal building on the curb, ValetXE parking is perfect for travelers looking for a premier servicer or for those who may be running low on time.
jetSet (economy): Located at the corner of 45th Street and Airport Road, jetSet is ideal for travelers that are looking for a more economic parking option. Free airport shuttles will transfer guests between the jetSet parking lot and the terminal. Note that this lot does not have electrified stalls for your engine block heater.

Tip #3: Streamline your arrival by checking in online and pre-printing your own boarding passes. Note that you will have to print baggage tags at your airlines for all checked bags and then proceed to the bag drop area.
Tip #4: Research any checked baggage restrictions and costs with your airline. Make sure to keep your gifts unwrapped. Wrapped gifts may need to be unwrapped when going through security so plan to wrap presents at your destination.
