The Saskatoon Airport is proud to announce its new brand, Skyxe (pronounced sky-ex-ee). While the legal entity name will remain Saskatoon Airport Authority, the airport operator will be known as Skyxe.
Skyxe represents airport collaboration and is a unique name full of meaning:
- Sk: Saskatchewan proud
- Sky: In addition to the aviation references, the Saskatchewan skies provide the most amazing northern lights, sunsets and sunrises
- YXE: Saskatoon Airport’s operating code.
“The Skyxe brand comes on the heels of a newly expanded air terminal building and significant strategic transformation towards our new corporate vision to be Canada’s most valued airport experience,” said Stephen Maybury, President and CEO of Skyxe Saskatoon Airport. “Following the success of the internationally recognized award from Airports Council International (ACI) for Most Improved Airport in North America in 2015, we knew that now was the time to solidify who we are in the eyes of our guests and elevate our collaborative approach to business with our airport partners.” For more information contact:
